It is good to be back after a break. Thank you for praying with us at ICL.
The India Healing Rooms are "up running and running well", with 32 functional HRs in 5 different States of India. We give God the glory for this development, and bless the many hands that assisted putting it together. The establishment of the India Healing Rooms is a vision wonderfully fulfilled!
ICL's next assignment is taking shape. ICL will be serving Set Free Ministries in San Diego, CA. We are planning a weekend of ministry with selected speakers and a hand picked ministry team to partner with us during this August event. This is taking shape with great excitement. The outreach will include ministry to men and women separately, the Set Free Pastors, church preaching, and Bible distribution.
We began by praying for finances towards the Bible distribution. Our prayers were answered almost instantly. We have been donated the exact number of Bibles that we will be needed for distribution. We want to express gratitude towards those who have given finance to bring Bibles to each participant at Set Free. Thanks too to those who are assisting in every way with this outreach to the poor and the afflicted.
As always we covet your prayer support. We know it is prayer that sees us through each ministry event that we plan and implement. ICL would also appreciate any financial assistance towards the overheads and budget of the Set Free event. All finances are tax deductible. Please pray with us for this. Scroll down for details.

ICL Serving the Poor
August 24 - 26, 2007
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives, and release for the prisoners. ...That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. Set Free is a 25-year-old ministry dedicated to reaching out to the homeless, the addicted, the afflicted, the lost and the hopeless. Many people wonder how they can help the growing number of people who are in these dire circumstances. Set Free helps by teaching them about Jesus. At Set Free, these individuals are taught the Word of God and they learn that they no longer have to live negative lifestyles that lead to jail, welfare-dependence, destruction and death. We feed, clothe, and house them, teaching them the skills they need, to be a positive influence in their families and communities. The Lord uses Set Free to help people. Our ministry goes out to where the needy are, in parks, at the beach, in jails and in prisons. We witness to God’s people everywhere, even in the worst neighborhoods. Set Free will go where even the pizza delivery guy won't go!
Inner City Light has long had an association with Set Free Ministries and these two ministries have worked together, having the same heart for the lost, broken and hurting. ICL is pleased to announce another outreach with Set Free in August ’07, working together to serve the needy in San Diego. The program will include ministry to the men and women separately and Bible distribution as well. A team of speakers and hand selected ministry members will work together on this outreach. Following is an introduction to each of the speakers…
Pastor Jack Jr and Ashley Sampier
Jack and Ashley Sampier have been the Worship and Youth Pastors at Calvary Temple AOG Church, CA, for the past 8 years. With a heart to lead God's people into an intimate encounter with their Creator, Jack incorporates ancient and modern hymns and contemporary worship into a truly blended encounter. Along with his responsibilities with regard to worship, Jack has the opportunity to speak at various events and at the local Teen Challenge. He is also a member of the New Song Focus Team for EMI Records. They have three wonderful daughters, Hannah, Mackenzie and Zoe.
Meri Crouley
Meri Crouley is a gifted author, speaker and singer. She is the founder of Meri Crouley Ministries, which ministers throughout the United States. She is currently hosting "Now Is The Time", an international television program where Meri interviews guests with compelling testimonies. The primary purpose of this program is to motivate viewers to find God's purpose and plan for their lives.
Meri is also President and Director of the "Youthwave Explosion Foundation." Formed in 1996, this non-profit foundation has held several large outreach concerts where thousands of young people committed their lives to Christ. Recently a concert was held in Camp Pendleton, where many young Marines were presented with the gospel before their deployment to Iraq.
Meri has appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, been heard on numerous radio stations and has traveled extensively throughout the United States ministering at various churches, retreats, women's groups and conventions.
Her ministry is to challenge and encourage the body of Christ through the gifting of the Holy Spirit and the teaching of God's Word. Beth Nichols, of "Beth's Music Studio," will be leading music the night Meri is ministering. Meri has been married for over 20 years to Rick Crouley and has three children. She resides in Laguna Niguel, California.
Daughters of Light
God spoke and said to go tell the women He calls them beautiful! It was out of obedience to that command that Daughters of Light was born. Daughters of Light (DOLS) goes into areas of the city with a reputation for keeping women in bondage to drugs, addiction, abuse, prostitution and homelessness, and shares the freedom Jesus Christ offers them! DOLS then disciples the women who respond so that the end result is mature disciples, not just converts.
Women come to DOLS through the Street Ministry Program, referrals from churches or community organizations, and word of mouth. Once involved, the women are offered an opportunity to grow in almost every area of their lives. DOLS offers bible studies, mentoring, discipleship, life-skills classes, transportation, prayer, clothing, food, referrals to other community organizations that can provide specialized assistance and housing. Basically, DOLS will find out the specific spiritual, emotional, or physical need of each woman and take it before the Lord and meet that need as the Lord directs.
DOLS has touched the lives of many women over the last 18 months. Their aim is to see women go from victims to more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. DOLS is committed to seeing women in San Diego surrender their lives to Jesus and watch their lives be transformed by the power of God.
Jackie DePalma & Klee L'Adonai Dance Team
Jackie DePalma, the director of the Klee L'Adonai Dance Team was born and raised California. Jackie and her husband Peter and their family now call San Diego home. Jackie has traveled through many parts of the world sharing her passion for "LIFE" through dance. Jackie is living her dream, traveling to many nations, bringing joy, hope and a passion for life... through dance and song.
The Klee L'Adonai Dance Team is a prepared vessel of the Lord."A vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work." True to this scripture from 2 Timothy 2:21 this dance team exudes a passion for life expressed through dance and song.
Janet Ann McAndrews
Janet Ann McAndrews founded Dance For The Nations in 1998, when she received her call to minister to the nations, after experiencing a miraculous healing of a back injury that had disabled her for 12 years. The ministry's mission is to be part of the Lord's restoration of the arts to His Church to bring God's anointing in worship for the transformation of cities based on Micah 2:13 and Psalm 24:9. The vision of this ministry also includes raising support for orphans worldwide.
Janet Ann has been ministering in dance since 1981. Currently she is on staff at the IHOP in Kansas City and serves on their dance team. She is a healing minister at the IHOP-KC Missions Base Healing Rooms and is part of the Joseph Company. In marketplace ministry, she has started a hospice, and worked as a director or board member for various government, non-profit, church and outreach organizations. Janet Ann has lived in passionate single devotion to Jesus Christ for over 30 years, and teaches the Word of God to encourage believers to live for His glory.
