May this New Year bring you blessings you will not have room enough to contain.
With Jodie back in the US for rest and recuperation before she sets off again on ministry, December was a quiet month. Jodie spent Christmas with her family, resting and being refreshed. ICL will be having a Board Meeting in February involving all ministry decisions. How we bless our counsel, advisers and all intercessors!
We have been getting really encouraging reports from the Healing Rooms in Mumbai.
Bethel HRs is averaging at least one salvation a week, with healings each week and also a growth in the ministry staff. As people get healed they really desire to know the Healer and that is the long-term goal of HRs…to make disciples…
Anthony, a client who had been coming consistently to the HRs, was blind when he first began coming, but is now beginning to see…and is what is especially touching is that he can now see his wife. India HRs is rapidly spreading throughout India with the establishing of new IAHR Healing Rooms.
Jodie was bid farewell by the team of HR technicians …all looking forward to seeing her back in Mumbai soon! In India we do not say ‘Goodbye’…We always say…’See you soon!
Sheila seems to be saying just that to Jodie. Jodie could not be more pleased with these developments and finds great joy in this outstanding team and God's work in India through them.
The Heartland Healing Rooms / Kansas City - MO Directors, Lee and Doris Harms are here in Mumbai at the moment and are enhancing the training that Jodie began during the past year.
The three-day Healing Rooms conference was a real success with over 120 participants, several of whom received healings as the conference was in progress. Anne was healed of a prolonged and severe back pain, which she had been suffering from for several years. Praise God! Another lady who had asthma was completely healed during the conference. Lee and Doris not only prayed for healing but taught the participants how to see a difficult sickness through until the client experienced complete freedom from symptoms, and this could take several sessions of prayer and ministry.
The key to Lee and Doris’ teaching was that they emphasized that as healing technicians we are not the healers but just instruments in His hands. This frees us up from any stress if the client does not get healed right away and gives us peace to come back to the Healer and ask once again on behalf of the client. They emphasized that as technicians we do what God has called us to do…’Pray’ and let the Lord do what He needs to do…’Heal.’ Awesome isn’t it?
Through the week after the seminar they continued to minister in several local Churches and also pray for those who streamed into Bethel for individual prayer for healing. They’ve had a real fruitful time and have been blessed as much as they were a blessing. They returned to the US on the 29th of Jan and have surely returned with hearts full of joy with what the Lord has accomplished through them during their time here in Mumbai, India.
Lee says…We came reluctantly, but we have been more blessed ourselves than we have been a blessing! We have received such a tremendous response from the people and such an anointing from the Lord. We know this is because we have had an intense prayer cover while we are here and that is the secret of our fruit in India.
Doris says…The beauty of India is her people. We love the people and will come back to be with them again! We have seen an abundant blessing of healing anointing. There have been miracles we could not imagine…creative healing miracles and on the last night of ministry there were so many people we stopped counting and not one of them went away without being relieved of pain! I want to say specifically…We give all the glory to Jesus whose it rightfully is. We would be nothing but for His presence and His grace to heal.
