Dearest Friends:
Our greatest thanks and love to you as you continue to intercede on our behalf. As you know, ICL has moved from local ministry to a movement into the nations. This is happening now! Praise the Lord!
AFRICA
1) From September 18th through the 30th, ICL will be co-laboring with Meri Crouley Ministries to do an outreach into Uganda. We are targeting four things in this area:
a) To minister with Dan Peters, as he establishes radio broadcasting into Uganda and the Sudan.
b) Serving National Aglow President Imelda Bwayo in Mbale. There we will be doing a 3-day Aglow leadership and pastors conference.
c) Going on radio broadcasts.
d) Hiking up the mountains to evangelize the lost who are still doing child sacrifices.
Please pray for lavish anointing to preach the Gospel to the glory of Jesus Christ. Also please pray for protection. People have "seen" the team like a small baby being held in Father God's mighty arms, and each person has been "seen" wrapped in a cocoon of God's love.
There is quite a bit of prayer and intercession to see if God is calling Jodie/ICL to go on into Mozambique to serve Iris Ministries again.
ICL will be having its Africa send-off at Cloud 9 Worship Center on Sunday night, August 22nd, at 7:00. We would love to see you there. Please pray blessings on these wonderful pastors, John and Judy Ross.
2) Team preparation for Africa: ICL to serve Set Free/San Diego as a training measure prior to going to Africa.
ICL is blessed and honored to again serve our friends at Set Free. On August 10th, a team consisting of Jodie Feldman, Meri Crouley, Don Bandow and Beth Nichols will go into Set Free and do a women's seminar. That evening, the team will be doing prophetic prayer ministry for the pastors under the Set Free ministry. Please pray that our Lord would deeply impart His blessings and love to this mighty work of God in San Diego. The team will spend the night with Set Free and arise the next morning to drive out to Set Free Cabazon (Palm Springs). where there will be another day of ministry unto the Lord. Please also pray for anointing and protection for the team.
INDIA
3) Many prayers are ongoing for establishing our work in Mumbai, India. Thus far, ICL is co-laboring with Aglow India (Merina Netto, President) to possibly establish a healing center there. You may already know that 4.5 million Indians attended a healing conference in Mumbai this year. At that conference, they received a touch from the Lord followed by salvation from their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In addressing that hunger, ICL and Aglow India are prayerfully considering establishing a healing center. Another possibility: ICL is presently seeking another well-known ministry to co-labor in the healing center project by planting house churches in Mumbai. Please pray that God's will would be done. Breakthrough prayer, along with God's healing hand, is needed.
4) ICL is presently interviewing potential traveling partners for world missions. Please pray Luke 10:2.
