Subject: ICL Goes to the Tsunami-Stricken Nation
Dearest Friends and Intercessors:
ICL would like to inform you that we are feeling called by God to address the devastation and great need of Indian peoples affected by the tsunami of December 26, 2004. As you know, 150,000 people have died in the world's most powerful earthquake in more than 40 years. This erupted under water and caused a tsunami which has devastated large regions of the Asian world. ICL is now making arrangements to go into that area to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Please pray that God would open every door; that He would bring in the best interpreter and travel partner for Jodie. Please pray also for safety and protection from disease as well as for a strong anointing of healing, comfort and compassion.

We would also like to update you on our most recent missionary effort in the San Diego area. As you may recall, in December, Inner City Light served Set Free, which is a Christian outreach to the homeless, addicts and alcoholics, and those in prison. ICL was again privileged to co-labor with Meri Crouley Ministries as Set Free gathered together two of their women's recovery homes. ICL brought two different teachings, while Aglow/El Cajon was kind enough to bring in a Christmas meal. Following that women's recovery home day, ICL, again with Meri.Crouley Ministries and another Aglow group in Chula Vista, ministered prophetically to the Set Free pastors and leadership. The evening went beautifully as our Lord released His voice on their behalf. Many felt God's touch that evening. The next day, we went out to the men's recovery ranch and spent the entire day and evening as Terry Rossknecht and Don Bandow also joined us with messages and ministry. Lastly, we were privileged to tour the San Diego Chargers' former training camp with Pastor Moses to see how Set Free is developing this newly acquired property.
We rejoice at the honor of serving this outstanding ministry.
The next Set Free event is scheduled for July, when ICL will gather the women together again. Jodie will bring her Song of Solomon teaching, Jackie de Palmo's group, Klee Adonai, will dance, and Beth Nichols will provide worship with her keyboard and beautiful voice.
Also, in December, ICL completed the testing process for serving our brethren in Uganda on an annual basis. The process took us three months, whereas the intercessors, the ICL board and pastoral oversight also stood in agreement that our Lord was calling us annually into this area. As you may recall, the invitation is to work with widows and orphans in the remote Mbale mountain range, with strong connections to Aglow and the AG church. Our target date is the end of 2005. Please pray that God would provide the funds for Jackie de Palmo and Beth Nichols to travel into Uganda with us. He has already raised up a team of willing people preparing to go. How good is our God???!!!!
Lastly, we'd like to update you on ICL's move to India. Jodie Feldman has begun the training process with both San Diego and Hartland (K.C.) Healing Rooms to establish the Aglow/ICL Healing Rooms in Mumbai. Dan and Sarah Shepler of the San Diego Healing Rooms have offered to help us establish a Mumbai-based oversight board as well as to help train us on site. We ask you to bless them for this outstanding extended hand to us, as God is expanding their territory as well. Please pray that God would begin raising up the Healing Rooms team in Mumbai as well as specifically targeting a location.
