Dear Intercessors and Friends: It is our great delight to serve the Kingdom of God together with you. How our Christ must smile upon you!
USA - We would like to update you on what ICL is currently doing in the United States in preparation (and in love) for our call into the nations.
We had the joy and privilege of taking a few members of the potential India team into the southwest region of the State of Kansas. We were honored to serve several different area Aglow chapters, bring the word of the Lord into a Bible study, and preach in a wonderful believing church. What we found was an openness and willingness to serve the King of Kings, and a great hunger for more of the presence of God. What a delight to serve Jesus under these conditions. The level of maturity in the saints of God was very high; they showed a willingness to go deeper, and yet forward, in more of God's plans for them!
Our next outreach in the US, for the glory of Jesus Christ will be in San Diego, CA, and Reno, NV. On July 9 and 10, ICL will be serving Set Free Ministries, an outstanding ministry which serves former bikers, addicts, prisoners, prostitutes, these ones whom His heart loves. God is gathering together a good team for this outreach.
Activities will include:
. Day 1, serving women in recovery, by bringing in a beautiful dance troupe and a message on God's heart of love directed toward them.
. Day 2, serving the Set Free Men's Home with an evangelistic message as well as a message on the Father's heart. Music will be brought in as well.
Those considering going to India with this team will be spending the night "on campus" in preparation for ministering to the nations. Many of the team will then be moving on to Reno, Nevada, to serve New Hope Recovery Home. The team will be spending several days there serving a Christian alcohol recovery program which is also very open and hungry for the presence of God. One of our joys is to bring a director from the Set Free Women's Home to the Nevada Recovery Home for cross-pollination and building up two different ministries. How like our Lord!
INDIA - For those of you following the Healing Rooms development we feel called by God to pursue, we would like to update you in this area as well.
God has raised up people from two different U.S. cities who are willing to go to India to help establish this work of the Lord. These are directors of proven ministries under the Healing Rooms association. God has brought forward a pastor in Mumbai, India, who has been crying out for a healing room in that city for four years! We hope to meet this pastor and his wife here in the U.S. for the planning stages of this work. Praise the Lord!. Kindly remember that Aglow India will be interceding for this work as well.
Lastly, we have been in touch with Aglow International in Washington State for their oversight and counsel in establishing this work of God. We want to walk in the fullest of His light, healing and counsel.
Please pray for our India Team for confirmation of God's calling to them. They are asking for signs following. All are willing; they just need the confirmation of God.
