Dear Intercessor and Friends:
The following message is an update of the wonderful work we saw our Lord complete recently. We will update you on areas we visited and/or served.
Tucson, AZ: ICL deeply connected with Faith Community Churches International (FCCI), a missionary oversight agency. We feel blessed and honored to have gotten to know the director, Carl Conely. We plan to minister at one of their mission churches in southern India early next year.
Edmonds, WA: Betty Yater and Jodie Feldman visited Aglow International Headquarters and met with Patty Miller, Africa Coordinator, and Joyce Jones, Asia Coordinator. We felt the meeting succeeded in introducing Aglow International to ICL's work in India and Africa. We felt the honor of God upon them as well as a generous sense of Christ's love for the nations through them. Both Betty and Jodie were very pleased.
Spokane, WA: Betty and Jodie visited the Spokane Healing Rooms International, receiving the covering and blessing to start Bethel Healing Rooms in Mumbai, India. Cal Pierce and Elaine Perkins determined that Betty and Jodie should be co-directors of this new work, along with Pastor Abraham and Sheila Sekhar, who are from India. Pastor Sekhar comes highly recommended by Merina Netto, National President Aglow India. It was a gift of God that Jodie and Betty spent the entire weekend in Spokane in the company of the Sekhars, establishing a deep bonding process we hope will endure throughout eternity! In addition to the Bethel Healing Rooms, Pastor Cal strongly encouraged us to develop an apostolic center to train and equip potential leaders and staff of future India Healing Rooms.
Just last weekend, all four co-directors were able to come together in Kansas City MO to write up the Healing Rooms blueprint. Additionally, the entire Inner City Light India Team was able to meet with their soon-to-be hosts, Pastor and Sheila Sekhars. We are pleased that the team has been invited to stay at their residence in Mumbai. Lastly, on the final day, International House of Prayer (Kansas City) prayed for the entire ICL India Team and the co-directors. What a blessing!
ICL India Team Development:The India Team continues to meet on a regular basis. We are pleased and honored to have Cheryl Ott come on board as ICL's new Administrator, who is also planning on going to India with us.
ICL India Team Send-off is officially set for January 29th at Christ Triumphant Church, Kansas City, MO. We thank our kind pastors for sending us out and welcome each of you to join us.
From the send-off we will be relocating into Mumbai, India. Please pray for God to establish a deep work through us!
