Jodie Feldman, Director of Inner City Light (ICL), is a missionary with a heart for the poor and the lost. Soon after her salvation, Jodie received a call to minister to the poor and the lost.  Many confirmations followed that reinforced her desire to reach out to these forgotten groups.

Jodie trained under her Mission's pastor, Tom Theriault, from Solana Beach Presbyterian Church.   A World Perspectives Course from the U.S. Center for World Missions built a strong foundation in her.

She was then called by the Lord to receive ordination.

For a decision as important as ordination, Jodie went on a 21-day fast to be sure she had truly heard from the Lord. Assured of this calling, on April 1, 1999, she submitted herself to her local church body which then ordained her based on the written Word of God.

Jodie began Inner City Light as a home-based ministry.  Since the early 1990's she evangelized the poor and the lost in the inner city of San Diego, CA.  She brought Jesus Christ's compassion to many of the "forgotten"--prostitutes, the homeless, those in prison and hospitals, the homosexual community--a heart-drive which she continues to fulfill.  She has served several U.S. churches and ministries, such as the Assembly of God Church in the Hillcrest area of San Diego, CA., Set Free Ministries of San Diego and International House of Prayer KC, to mention a few.

After spending years in local inner city ministry, God called Jodie to the international field as well.  Subsequently, she has traveled throughout India to preach, teach, and evangelize the poor and acted as a bridge for the establishment of The Healing Rooms under IAHR.  Jodie has also worked with the National President of Aglow International, India, to minister in women's groups, leper colonies, prostitutes, and slum churches of Bombay, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Darjeeling. She has worked with Bombay Teen Challenge in the red light district and with Brothers of Charity through Mother Teresa in Calcutta's leper colonies.

Jodie has been privileged to minister in other parts of the world as well, including China, Korea, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Africa.

Submitted to a "multitude of counselors" as stated in Proverbs 11:14, Jodie is a member of Christ Triumphant Church (CTC), Lee's Summit, Missouri, where Pastors Alan and Carol Koch serve as her senior pastors.  She also is under the covering and wise counsel of Harvest International Ministries.

Following the call of God on her life brings no regrets for Jodie. In fact, she says, "I enjoy it immensely!"
