Susan Houghtlin Team Member

Susan is originally from upstate New York. She moved to Kansas City, Missouri, in 1996, where she met her husband and became an active member of her home church, Metro Christian Fellowship in Kansas City, for eleven years. After a devastating motorcycle accident, Susan rededicated her life to the Lord. Shortly thereafter, she received her calling in the prophetic and trained for five years at a local prophetic church, Christ Triumphant Church, Lee’s Summit, Missouri..

She and her husband, Mike, serve the Lord in the workplace with two businesses. They have an anointing for repairing cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, serving numerous denominational churches in Missouri and Kansas. They belong to non-profit organizations, such as the Christian Motorcycle Association and Bikers Against Child Abuse. They are also active with Bikers for Babies, Bikers for the Homeless, Bikers with a Mission, and Bikers Against Muscular Dystrophy.  In the ministry field, Susan is known to go into bars and motorcycle rallies to share the Gospel with those who are bound in drug and alcohol abuse.  As well, she ministers to prostitutes and the homeless. Recently, she served the men and women at Set Free Ministries in San Diego, California. Susan desires to go into a women’s prison to share the Good News and set those captives free.

Susan joined Inner City Light because she believes that by working together corporately, Isaiah 61:1-8 can be accomplished. Captives can be set free by our Lord’s grace!  Praise God!
